In May 2018, the Munchies journey commenced, marking a turning point after 14 dedicated years at one of Canada's leading banks. The quest began for a venture that not only connected us with people but also offered an opportunity for my daughters to actively engage and eventually nurture as their own.

A pivotal moment arose when I came across a feature on a popcorn company, igniting my curiosity. After careful deliberation, we took the plunge, investing in a single popcorn machine, a Walmart tent, and a few other essentials to set up our first booth at the "Stiver Mill Farmers Market" in Unionville. Thanks Stiver Mill FM!

Fast forward five years, Munchies now boasts a presence in several markets every week, as well as a myriad of special events annually, ranging from fairs, and festivals, to charitable endeavors, corporate gifting and fundraisers for both schools and sports teams.

While it is great to see Munchies grow and become so widely accepted, what we are most proud of is that we are able to bring a little bit of joy, happiness, and a smile to each and every person we meet.

As a business evolves over time so does the objective and mission and Munchies purpose is to bring the best hand crafted kettle corn popcorn snacks to everyone.

Munchies Philosophy

Our focus here at Munchies is on creating a select few great-tasting kettle corn popcorn varieties instead of an impossible unending array of flavours that would leave you paralyzed with indecision.

Not only do we make the most delicious sweet and savoury kettle corn popcorn snacks and treats available, we do it while being health aware. Having children who have numerous allergy challenges, we aim to make products that will suit everyone.

Munchies is proud to pop with Ontario grown popping corn which is GMO Free. Only the finest ingredients are used, making the best tasting popcorn snacks available.

While we do offer a variety of savoury flavours which contain dairy, whey or soy, when produced we like to ensure there is no cross contamination with our products which are dairy, nut, egg, and seed free.
